Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO) One-Year Internship
In addition to the postdoctoral residency program in Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics/Master of Business Administration, the University of Southern Nevada College of Dental Medicine is pleased to announce an inimitable twelve month orthodontic internship. This program will be offered to three highly qualified and motivated dentists each academic year, and is designed to provide exposure, guidance and experience in the specialty of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics to general practitioners who wish to gain an insight to the specialty, as well as those interested in future training and a career in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. The internship will allow the interns to attend and audit all assigned curriculum blocks, clinic sessions and educational meetings along with the residents who are enrolled in the University of Southern Nevada College of Dental Medicine Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency Program. Additionally, should they choose to do so, the interns may have an opportunity to work on a research project with a faculty mentor and/or resident at the University of Southern Nevada. Following the completion of the program, the College of Dental Medicine will award a Certificate of Completion to all interns in good standing.
