A Message from the Program Director

Welcome to the University of Southern Nevada, College of Dental Medicine and thank you for your interest in our inaugural postdoctoral dental residency program, Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics/Master of Business Administration. The College of Dental Medicine offers an innovative and integrated 35-month Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO) Residency and Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program, with graduates earning both a “Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics” and an “MBA Degree” simultaneously. We are excited to offer this “pioneering” postdoctoral dental education program, which is primarily possible by utilizing the innovative and effective “block system,” as set forth by the University of Southern Nevada College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing and the MBA Program. The AEODO/MBA Residency Program will focus on lifelong learning, clinical excellence, expertise in sound business management and providing outstanding oral health care to a diverse population. Additionally, core values of distinction, proficiency, integrity, honesty and leadership will be stressed throughout the residents’ education at the University of Southern Nevada.
