03/05/2008 - Director of Financial Aid
USN is a non-profit private university and has two locations: Henderson, NV and South Jordan, UT. The position is located in Henderson, NV.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years experience in financial aid, with at least 5 years administrative experience at the level of Assistant Director or higher in financial aid in a 4-year college or university is required.
The Director provides leadership for the planning, direction, and evaluation of a comprehensive financial aid delivery system and ensures the effective management of all available financial aid applications. Strong communication skills and thorough knowledge of student information system, PowerFAIDS (SunGard Higher Education) or similar financial aid information system, with in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and private loan programs, including the regulations and reporting requirements associated with those programs, is essential.
