Join USN at United Healthcare Health Festival

Approximately 25 various local healthcare organizations will offer blood pressure and blood sugar screenings as well as information on common health issues, including arthritis, diabetes, immunization, cholesterol, heartburn and respiratory illnesses.

The event is geared at educating the public on how to lead healthier and happier lives and providing the free screenings for residents interested in being proactive about their health. This can help prevent illnesses for occurring later on in life.

“Our health festivals are a great way for the students to interact with community members,” said USN’s Director of University Relations Barbara Wood. “They provide practical experience for them and are a great opportunity for the general public to check up on their health and learn how to prevent illness. This is also a wonderful way for our students to showcase the quality education and training they’re receiving at USN.”

UnitedHealthcare is the presenting sponsor for the health festival.
