Susan earned her MBA from DePaul University in 1991 and her BA in Business from Governors State University in 1988. She was on the Dean’s List and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. While attending college, she worked for both schools as a Financial Aid Counselor and a Graduate Assistant for the Management Department for DePaul University. Her legal research was the basis for several publications. Prior to moving to Green Valley, from Chicago, in 1996, Susan worked in the Student Loan Collections Department at a large bank. She and her team were able to locate students, collect and cure nearly $8,000,000 in loans that were considered uncollectible and out of compliance.

In Las Vegas, Susan held the position of Financial Services Manager for all the campuses in Nevada, where she and her department won over 25 awards for best in the Western Region. She was the Assistant Bursar and Manager of the Cashier’s Office at University of Nevada-Las Vegas, before joining the University of Southern Nevada in August 2005.

Susan’s hobbies and interests are traveling, reading and concerts.
