Carolyn Maldonado is the Administrative Assistant to Dennis Chamberland and Barbara Wood in the Institutional Advancement and University Relations department.

She was born and raised in Massachusetts. Carolyn has earned over 70 credits from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Massachusetts and plans to transfer those credits to obtain her bachelors degree.

Prior to joining Southern Nevada University, Carolyn worked eight years for the Town of Salem, NH, five of which were as the Community Development Administrative Assistant. In this position Carolyn was responsible for many grants being approved as well as project management for many activities in the town. Prior to her position at the Town of Salem, Carolyn worked for five years at Northern Essex Community College as Secretarial Support. As part of her secretarial support she was responsible for the admissions, registrations, and bursar functions as well as provide executive administrative assistance to the campus director.

Carolyn currently resides in Henderson, NV with her two children.
