Dr. Jin Zhang received her Bachelor of Pharmacy at Zhejiang University, China. She then received her PhD in pharmaceutics at the University of South Carolina.  She has conducted basic and applied research on several aspects of chemical penetration and drug delivery through the skin and other biological membranes. These investigations involve testing of physical and chemical means of controlling the diffusion and delivery of drugs from novel formulations and devices applied on the skin.  Dr. Zhang has served as an assistant professor at the University of Southern Nevada since December 2006.  Her classroom duties include teaching in Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics.
