Ann Roads is the Assistant Librarian for University of Southern Nevada’s South Jordan campus.  Ann graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a BS in Recreation & Park Administration.  Prior to working for USN, she worked as a Library Assistant for the Utah State Law Library and spent 11 years with the Pikes Peak Library District in Colorado Springs as an Information Services Specialist.  While in Colorado, she was a founding member of an area wide paraprofessional support staff association.  PPALSS offered various workshops to help paraprofessionals work individually and as part of a team with professional staff members, as well as providing opportunities to network with other professionals in the field.
