Dr. David T. Grove received a doctorate degree in dentistry from the University of Louisville, a master of science from St. Louis University, a master of education from the University of Southern California and a master of science in advanced dentistry from Donau University in Austria. He practiced orthodontics for 33 years and was a Major in the US Army as an orthodontist in Germany for 3 years.

He was clinic director in the Department of Orthodontics and faculty in the TMD Department at the University of California San Francisco for over 2 years, and was on the faculty of the University of Nevada Medical School as director of a TMD clinic in Reno Nevada. He was also faculty of the University of Nevada School of Dental Medicine Department of Orthodontics and Dento-facial orthopedics.

He has lectured across the United States and Europe. He is a member of many professional and educational organizations in the US and Europe.
