Wendy Cantrell PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Cantrell received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona in 1994. She then went on to complete an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. Since that time, Dr. Cantrell has provided clinical services at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) as the Cardiology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and the Co-Director of the Anticoagulation Clinic. She became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) in 1997 and is the program director for UMC222s pharmacy practice residency. In addition to precepting pharmacy residents and students during their anticoagulation, cardiology, and critical care rotations, Dr. Cantrell currently teaches in the cardiology block to the second year students.
