Ms. Hug was born in Michigan and moved with her family when she was seven to Arizona. She received a Bachelor222s of Science in Mathematics from Northern Arizona University and a Master222s of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University.

She worked for over 20 years for Aztar Corporation (formerly Ramada, Inc) in various capacities including Director of Planning and Director of Development Accounting in the headquarters in Phoenix and Director of Internal Audit, Controller and Director of Financial Accounting in Las Vegas at the Tropicana Resort and Casino. She was the Controller for Seven Circle Resorts, Inc. in Las Vegas before joining the College in June 2002.

Ms. Hug is a Certified Public Accountant (licensed in Arizona), a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor.

Eileen is also a certified aerobic instructor and taught yoga for about a year. Her hobbies include International, Israeli and Contra Dancing; she also teaches folk dancing for the Las Vegas folk dancing club on occasion. Other interests include reading, travel, theater, and her pets.
