Gary Manley PharmD, BCPS
Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Dr. Manley received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California San Francisco in 1970 where he was a Regent's Scholar. He served a clinical pharmacy residency at the University of California Moffitt Hospital in San Francisco 1970-71.

Dr. Manley accepted a position at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and Clinical Clerkship Coordinator. He established the clinical experiential clerkships. He remained in that position until 1976.

After spending 18 years in business and sales unrelated to pharmacy, Dr. Manley returned to pharmacy in 1993 as a long term care consultant. He became involved in clinical practice at the subacute hospital level, where he manages patients under collaborative practice agreements with physicians. He specializes in movement disorders, pain management, and other disorders of the elderly.

Dr. Manley joined the faculty of Nevada College of Pharmacy in November of 2001 as an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice. He teaches students in advanced clinical rotations and lectures on pain, movement disorders, dementia, osteoporosis, menopause as well as men's and women's health.

Dr. Manley is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and credentialed in Pain Management with the American Academy of Pain Management. He is an active member of many professional associations.
