Dr. Ziance received his BS in Pharmacy and PhD in pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh. He did his postdoctoral training in pharmacology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Ziance obtained tenure as a faculty member of the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. In doing so he was recognized as Outstanding Teacher of the Year, taught several undergraduate honors courses and served as major professor of two graduate students who obtained the PhD in pharmacology. Ron then entered the pharmaceutical industry where he established the pharmacovigilance departments of several international firms. As a faculty member of the Center for Professional Advancement, he presented pharmacovigilance programs to international audiences. Dr. Ziance accepted a position as Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Nevada College of Pharmacy in 2002.
