The Alumni Scholarships program provides merit-based support for some of the nation’s brightest professional minds, attracting top students to campus, and strengthening the university’s world-class reputation. It is a rare student who has graduated from the College of Pharmacy without benefit of financial assistance. Through the years, generous alumni and friends have provided needed scholarship support providing countless renewing opportunities for students. Empowered by their College of Pharmacy education, our students have been able to create careers, achieve personal goals, and ease human suffering in ways that might never have materialized, had it not been for the philanthropy of alumni and friends.

Every year, many alumni, parents, friends and students give generously to the university. Their support helps to enhance student scholarship assistance, attract and retain world-class faculty, and create new and innovative curricula.

The USN College of Nursing accepts students of exceptional talent and dedication who will become the next generation of leading caregivers, researchers and faculty. The college also supports an outstanding MBA program for nurses with associate's degrees to obtain both bachelor’s and master's degrees.

The USN Library enriches every facet of the university, from the specialized education by our top-ranked faculty to the state-of-the-art facilities. USN faculty and students rely on complete and in-depth library resources, including historic manuscripts, newly published books, electronic journals and databases. The Library offers a number of unique giving opportunities. Gifts to the USN Friends of the Library support the most critical needs of the Library, from acquisitions and preservation to digital library projects.

The Honor with Books program is a meaningful way to pay tribute to a special person in your life while making an important contribution to future generations of students. When you make a gift to the Honor with Books fund, a personalized bookplate is placed in one newly purchased book in the subject area of your choosing.

Library supporters can build a permanent legacy by establishing a Collection Endowment. These funds make it possible to acquire, preserve and make accessible Library materials in subject areas of special interest to the donor. Endowments may be established with a single gift or with a pledge that will build the fund over several years. Because the endowment generates sustained income each year, it guarantees the growth of collections and constitutes one of the best investments one can make in higher education. Gifts to the USN Friends of the Library ensure a comprehensive resource for current and future generations.
