Nevada State Health Division promotes and protects the health of all Nevadans and visitors to the state through its leadership in public health and enforcement of laws and regulations pertaining to public health. In fulfilling its mission, the Nevada State Health Division is guided by the State Board of Health and administers six bureaus.

NSNA is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate, diploma, and generic graduate nursing programs. It is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students.

The Utah Pharmacists Association is a non-profit organization. It was established in April 6, 1892 for the purpose of promoting the profession of pharmacy and addressing issues related to public health.

Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) is the national agency for the accreditation of professional degree programs in pharmacy and providers of continuing pharmacy education.

Founded in 1900, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) is the national organization representing the interests of pharmacy education and educators. Comprising all 105 U.S. colleges and schools of pharmacy including more than 4,300 faculty, 48,500 students enrolled in professional programs and 3,600 individuals pursuing graduate study.

The Association is a leader in providing professional information and education for pharmacists and an advocate for improved health of the American public through the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care.

South Jordan's most distinctive and recognizable landmark, visible from miles around, is the LDS Jordan River Temple overlooking the open space and protected green belts of the Jordan River Parkway. Though residential development in the Salt Lake valley has mushroomed, South Jordan is committed to preserving its natural beauty. Along the banks of the Jordan River, South Jordan City is cooperating with other government, non-profit and private groups to set aside a significant area for the South Jordan Riverway Wildlife Enhancement project.
