Campus Marketing Director – Utah
University of Southern Nevada is seeking applicants for Campus Director of Marketing for its South Jordan, Utah campus. Helpdesk Technician
The University of Southern Nevada Technology Services unit is seeking applicants for a Helpdesk Technician at the Henderson campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for field calls/walk-ins to the Helpdesk from 800+ students and employees for all computer, printer, repair, maintenance and software issues; troubleshoot wireless network connectivity issues; setup and maintain classroom video & audio equipment; and keep accurate accounting of all hardware. Dean, University of Southern Nevada College of Dental Medicine
Applications and nominations are invited for the position of Dean of the University of Southern Nevada’s (USN) College of Dental Medicine.
The Dean of the College of Dental Medicine serves as the chief academic officer of the CDM and will lead the development of an innovative DMD program with a unique curriculum based on USN’s student-centered educational philosophies of Mastery Learning and Outcomes-Based Education using the block system, a pioneering method of curricular delivery with proven success in the University’s other health education programs. This position represents a distinctive opportunity for an academic scholar to create a legacy of excellence in dental education. The Dean of the CDM will oversee the development of the curriculum, recruit core administration and faculty, ensure that physical, clinical, financial, and human resources for successful implementation are in place, recruit and admit an entering class in Fall 2011, and will work with internal and external stakeholders and partners to ensure high quality, interdisciplinary and interprofessional education, clinical training, and scholarship occurs. The Dean will ensure that the Initial Application to the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) meets or exceeds the CODA standards. The Dean will also work with the Program Director of the existing Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics /MBA Residency Program overseeing its continued development as the first residents matriculate from that program in 2011.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will possess D.D.S. /D.M.D. degree from an institution accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association and will have demonstrated experience in teaching, research, patient care, community service and leadership in a dental school/dental organization, or health professions program. Additional earned degrees (M.S., Ph.D., PharmD, MBA, M.D., D.O.) are not required, but are highly desirable. Successful candidates should have a demonstrated history of scholarship with a record commensurate with full Professorship. Additionally, the candidate should possess a firm understanding of fiscal management, organizational, and communication skills; should have a history of innovative leadership and dedication to interdisciplinary dental education; and should embrace an entrepreneurial and enterprising commitment to improving dental education.

Advanced Experience Coordinator, South Jordan Campus
This position offers a unique combination of administrative and didactic responsibilities with research potential.

College of Pharmacy: Assistant Dean for Clinical Programs
The University of Southern Nevada College of Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, innovative, and caring individual to lead the clinical programs unit as the Assistant/Associate Dean for Clinical Programs (ADCP). This position reports directly to the Dean of the College and is a member of the leadership team within the College.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and innovative ideas to direct enthusiastic and driven pharmacy practice faculty. Responsibilities of the position center around mentoring and fostering the development of clinical faculty. This individual will play an integral role in guiding, advising, and evaluating pharmacy practice faculty, facilitating their research and scholarship, helping them to develop their practice sites, and assisting them in their experiential teaching and service responsibilities to the institution.
The ADCP also has oversight of the experiential programs within the College and guides the IPPE and APPE experiential coordinators on both the Henderson, NV and the South Jordan, UT campuses. The four experiential coordinators report directly to the ADCP. Additionally, this individual will also be involved in experiential site development as well as exploring opportunities for residencies and other advanced training with institutional and community pharmacy partners.
Required qualifications: Pharm.D. or equivalent experience, eligible for licensure in Nevada and/or Utah, precepting experience, and research and/or scholarly activities.
Desired qualifications: Previous leadership experience, development and implementation of innovative clinical programs in a healthcare or university setting.
Travel between the two campuses is expected; however, the ADCP may maintain a residence at either campus location.
