In 2005, based upon data adjusted for population differences, the USN College of Pharmacy received approximately six times more applications from Nevadans than Arizonans; three times more than Californians and approximately 1.3 times more than Utahans. In 2005, 23 percent of Nevadan applicants were admitted as compared to 17 percent of Utahans, 14 percent of Arizonans and five percent of Californians.
Due to large numbers of applicants from Utah, an extension campus was opened in 2006 in South Jordan to accommodate the high demand. This allows the Henderson campus to accept higher numbers of applicants from Nevada.
