Nursing Program Tuition & Fees

Tuition and Fees Class of 2009 (Classes starting in August 2007)*:
• Year 1 Tuition: $25,000 
o Year 2 Tuition: $12,500
• Year 1 Student Body Fee: $325
o Year 2 Student Body Fee: $163
• Year 1 Technology Fee: $275
o Year 2 Technology Fee: $50
• Year 1 Nursing Fee: $650
o Year 2 Nursing Fee: $275
• Year 1 Books, Media: $1000
o Year 2 Books, Media: $900
• Computer Fee: $1300
• Graduation Fee: $265 to be assessed on second year nursing students
• Year 1 Insurance: $778 (waived if student provides proof of insurance)
o Year 2 Insurance: $476 (waived if student provides proof of insurance)

• Year 1 Tuition: $26,200
o Year 2 Tuition: $13,200
• Year 1 Student Body Fee: $325
o Year 2 Student Body Fee: $163
• Year 1 Technology Fee: $275
o Year 2 Technology Fee: $50
• Year 1 Nursing Fee: $480
• Year 1 Books, Media: $1000
o Year 2 Books, Media: $900
• Computer Fee: $1300
• Graduation Fee: $265 to be assessed on second year nursing students
• Year 1 Insurance: $778 (waived if student provides proof of insurance)
o Year 2 Insurance: $504 (waived if student provides proof of insurance)

*Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice upon approval by the
Board of Trustees. All fees are mandatory for each student and most are nonrefundable.

TEXTBOOKS AND LAPTOP

Textbooks are available for purchase in the University of Southern Nevada virtual bookstore. Students will also be required to purchase a laptop computer.  The cost of the laptop for students is included in the tuition and fees as the "computer fee".  All incoming students must purchase a laptop through the university.

Specifications for textbooks and laptop computer will be sent upon matriculation by the College of Nursing. Additional textbooks are required for the BSN program other than those covered by the Books & Media fee.

FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIP

USN has been approved to participate in the Title IV Federal Student Loan Program. Instructions to complete this process, including USN’s School Code, will be posted on the website in January.
