BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

The baccalaureate nursing program is designed to prepare students for entry level registered nurse positions in a variety of health care environments. Graduates will use critical thinking skills for effective problem solving, decision making, and independent judgment to provide culturally competent and developmentally appropriate care in the practice of nursing and to function as a member of the health care team. Upon successful completion of the curriculum, students are eligible to sit for the NCLEX to become registered nurses.

10th Annual USN Scholarship Golf Tournament

 University of Southern Nevada is proud to announce its 10th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on Monday, November 16 at the exclusive Cascata Golf Club in Boulder City. This is the third year the university will host the event at the course Sports Illustrated has dubbed “Golf’s Hidden Treasure.” Cascata was named the #1 facility in the U.S. in the Zagat Survey 2009.

Deadline Extended for Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program

The University of Southern Nevada College of Nursing is now accepting applications for the Fall 2009 enrollment in its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The deadline has been extended to August 1, 2009.
