The University of Southern Nevada, our faculty, staff, students and alumni believe that in order to live and work in a community, it is very important to be involved and give back to that community.  At the latest count, our university is represented actively in over 108 community organizations helping to make a difference in the lives of others.

Twice a year, the university participates in the women’s fairs, bringing information about nutrition and healthy choices for better living.  The multiple business expos presented each year have our participation as well.  Our employees are represented in leadership positions in various Chambers of Commerce and non-profits throughout the region.  Our employees and students lead teams for charity walks, gather clothes and food for food banks and needy families and raise funds for research for cures and treatment of diseases, among the many projects they help.
