Pharmacy Admissions Application

  • The College of Pharmacy application for admission into the class starting in the fall 2009 will be available on September 2, 2008. The deadline to apply for fall 2009 is December 8, 2008. Transcripts are due before February 12, 2009.

  • Admissions Application Process

    • Applications for the class beginning fall 2009 must be postmarked by Monday, December 8, 2008. Your completed application should be mailed to:   University of Southern Nevada, College of Pharmacy, 2009 Application, 11 Sunset Way, Henderson, Nevada  89014.
    • Students are encouraged to apply well before the application deadline. The Admissions Office will process and evaluate applications it receives before the application deadline. You will be notified via e-mail when we receive your application.
       

    Note: We will accept applications with coursework in progress. Four of the eight science prerequisites must be completed by December. However, all prerequisites must be completed at the time of enrollment. You should submit an official transcript documenting the final grade earned in any prerequisite class that was in progress when you submitted your application. Please read through the application materials carefully. Any mistakes or omissions will result in a delay in processing your application.

    It is expected that interviews for the University of Southern Nevada, College of Pharmacy will begin in January and will continue until April. The Admissions Office will contact selected applicants by phone or email to schedule an interview date and time. Therefore, it is essential that you notify the Admissions Office if you change your address, phone number or email address after you submit your application.

    The Office of Admission will notify you of its decision by the end of May.

  • Letters of Recommendation, PCAT, Pharmacy Experience

    Letters of Recommendation are not required and are not accepted.  PCAT and pharmacy experience are not required.
