Applicants interested in deferring their offer of admission must make this request no later than three weeks prior to the first day of orientation. Orientation typically occurs in the third week of August, immediately prior to the beginning of classes. Applicants can only request to defer their offer of admission once and that deferral, if accepted, will only be valid for the next academic year.
