Elizabeth Sebranek PharmD, BCPS
Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Elizabeth Sebranek, Pharm.D., BCPS, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology in 1996 from the University of Kansas.  After working full-time for several years in community pharmacy and home health infusion pharmacy, she returned to the University of Kansas, earning her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2003. She completed an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and transitioned to a Staff Clinical Pharmacist in the areas of Internal Medicine (primarily Gastroenterology / Hepatology), Nephrology, and Solid Organ Transplant.

Prior to relocating to Utah in late 2008, Dr. Sebranek worked as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Emergency Department of Froedtert Hospital.  She currently works as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist in Adult Internal Medicine at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, participating in multidisciplinary rounds, pharmacokinetic consults, quality improvement projects, and precepting pharmacy students in Adult Acute Care.  She is credentialed by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS).


Dr. Sebranek is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and the Utah Society of Health System Pharmacists (USHP).  Her research interests include infectious diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, nephrology, nutrition support, geriatrics, medication reconciliation, and medication safety.
