USN transformed the educational process, moving it from the traditional to the innovative. You stay focused, surrounded by a student-centered, experiential learning environment. From day one, you become actively engaged in the learning process—rather than silently sitting, listening to a professor lecture. Clinical and practice settings enhance your education, build confidence and inspire forward thinking.

USN also took a new approach with the curriculum format. We’ve restructured courses into blocks, not semesters or quarters, so you concentrate on just one subject for an entire block. You’ll have various breaks between academic blocks and clinical rotations, along with limited summer and holiday vacations. Foregoing traditional letter grades, we assess your competency at the end of each block via examination. This block system allows you to complete your Pharm.D degree in three years instead of four, a BSN in 18 months instead of 2 years, and an MBA degree in one year.
